Have you ever considered destination engagement photos? You are in luck if you have me photograph your wedding. I love to offer destination engagement sessions to my wedding clients. It’s an opportunity to explore a new environment and have great engagement photos to boot! I always begin with a questionnaire to gain more insight into who my couple is. From the answers to those questions, I come up with a list of three locations that really speak to my couple. It may be in the foothills of Scottsdale, the beach in Florida or a grand estate in Nashville. We enjoy meandering around our location, both exploring new locations, then casually stopping here and there for portraits.

Jackie and Jackson have a love for the beach. They love to quietly explore new places and we decided that one new place they wanted to explore was Fort De Soto Beach in Florida. Having a destination engagement session was important to them. Not only did they want their love documented on film, but they also wanted it captured in a new location. We traveled there and spent an afternoon leisurely exploring the beach and stopping every so often for a portrait. I love these types of engagement sessions….ones that are longer and more leisurely. They provide us with the time and space to adequately capture candid and romantic portraits. Jackie and Jackson will be getting married next Spring outside of Chicago.
