It was a bright and sunny day when we started Laurel and Chris’ downtown Chicago engagement session. We started at the Adler Planetarium to photograph them in front of the Chicago skyline. It’s such a prominent part of the city and they wanted to be sure to incorporate that into their session. We had so much fun as we traveled throughout the city to photograph them! These two are so lovely. Chris is so kind and considerate of Laurel, making sure she wasn’t too chilly when it was a little windy. He also opens the door for her! We don’t see that much anymore and I always find it so charming when a man does that for a woman. I knew as soon as we started photographing, that they were naturals. I can’t wait to see how lovely their wedding photographs will be!
Chris and Laurel will be getting married this September. They chose to have their wedding reception at the Deerpath Inn. It’s such a lovely venue and will be the perfect setting for a gorgeous wedding reception in the Chicago suburbs. Please enjoy some of my favorite images from their engagement session!
